Giants: This Is Our 'Super Bowl'

Anything to get a club fired up. Antonio Pierce is the main cheerleader, shouting the this is the "Super Bowl" mantra for the Giants though we're only halfway through the season. Whatever works, dude. Three straight losses will make Pierce and a contender like the Giants cranky and force them to circle the wagons. But the Giants will be fine. They've got a running game that will help the Eli Manning-Steve Smith connection and the Chargers don't defend running games well. Plus, it's an early game for a West Coast club and West Coast clubs don't do well in early East Coast games. Our call: Giants 27, Chargers 21.
